About Us
Manako are specialists in Māori cultural capability training solutions tailored to your needs.
Who We Are
Manako is a niche Māori-owned company based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) with a big heart, founded by Neavin Broughton and Perēri Hathaway.
We are driven by a deep responsibility to share the unique beauty and cultural value of Te Ao Māori. We recognise that many of us are looking to strengthen our cultural awareness and become more confident in Te Ao Māori. We honour these aspirations and weave them into the way we design and deliver our programmes.
A 'manako' is an aspiration or desire that, when embraced with commitment, shapes who we are and who we strive to be. Our name, Manako, reflects our committment and desire to ensure those we work with can realise their aspirations through their own personal Manako journey.
