Aku Taonga is a mana whenua course for Te Whanganui-ā-Tara (Wellington Harbour), endorsed by the Wellington Tenths Trust and the Palmerston North Māori Reserves Trust. It explores local kōrero tuku iho (ancestral stories) from a Taranaki iwi perspective, using Te Ōhākī a Te Wharepōuri (Aspirations of Te Wharepōuri) as its foundation. By the course's end, participants will understand how Taranaki iwi embody the aspirations of Te Wharepōuri as mana whenua.
